Conceptual study of an advanced ethanol engine

Engineering Research Center for research on topics related to combustion engines powered by biofuels. Center composed of research groups from 3 institutions in the State of São Paulo – Mauá Institute of Technology (headquarters) – University of São Paulo – Technological Institute of Aeronautics. The Center has Professor Francisco E. B. Nigro (Unicamp) as researcher in charge. The Center will be able to bring together researchers from different universities and research institutes in the State of São Paulo, with the attribution of executing multidisciplinary projects at the frontier of knowledge, transferring technology, training researchers and disseminating the knowledge produced. For the selected Center, funding will initially be granted for a period of up to four years, which may be renewed, by decision of the Managing Committee of the FAPESP-Peugeot Citröen Cooperation, for a maximum of two more three-year periods.
